Saucy's Restaurant Opens In Metuchen, Nj
(ContentDesk) July 6, 2004 - Saucy's BBQ is now open in Metuchen, NJ, featuring southern-style wet and dry ribs, BBQ and spice-roasted chicken, pulled pork and beef brisket, all with homemade rubs, glazes and dipping sauces in many varieties. Other popular menu items include Po' boy sandwiches, salads, fries and onion rings, baked macaroni, dirty rice and southern-style cole slaw. There are also a child's menu and dessert items. For real meat lovers Saucy's offers several combination platters of Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, BBQ or Roasted Chicken, or Wings. Saucy's smokes all its meats in-house and offers sit-down dining as well as take out, delivery and catering services from its location at 15 New Street, only one block from the Metuchen train station.

The offers

a fun and friendly atmosphere reminiscent of traditional southern-style BBQ restaurants. Tables are plentiful with comfortable seating, and the walls are festooned with license plates and patriotic memorabilia from all 50 states. Saucy's is brightly lighted with colorful neon throughout, music and a television, and there is plenty of street parking within one block. Saucy's hours are Monday-Thursday, 11:00 am to 9:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am to 10:00 pm; and Sunday, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Saucy's also provides complete catering and set-up services with 24 hours advance notice.
